so this was inspired by the same caterpillar as this work here

As you can see there's some very similar colours and some poofiness.
I started with a sketch that sorta had the same ripplyness as the caterpillar. I also had a shape of the mask(which totally isn't just me not wanting to draw a full face) based on the moth shape.
It also put a hat on them to mimic the way the face is kinda in the middle of the face.
From there I coloured in the dress, and did some shading to try to mimic the sort of shading and shape the catapiller has.
But the torso is kinda plain so I added buttons that matched the jewlery(which is also a sorta similar colour as the spots on the reference caterpillar)
From there I added a dark background to contrast the bright colours.
Oh and the shoes sorta mimic the shape of the feet.
Anyway that's this catapiller to person transformation.
