Foliage
“You must be kidding me!”
“Look at that!”
“Beautiful!”
It was.
Gorgeous—the color.
Red, orange, tan, brown—yellow! I love yellow.
Leaves, all of them.
It was like one tree was trying to outdo the other.
The competition was tough.
Lovely.
Autumn—my favorite season.
Everything is rich and decaying.
The smell in the air, in your nostrils,
sometimes it’s smoke.
Those leaves a burning or the dampness of the foliage under your feet.
An intoxicating aroma triggering your memory.
Reminding you of past events in your life.
And this time of year can have a bonus--some very warm weather rebounds back at you.
The magic of Indian Summer!
You can bask in the sun again—feel those golden rays--but be careful—it could change instantly.
A chilly wind will hit you with a reminder—don’t forget what time of year it is.
Summer’s over pal, winter’s on the horizon.
But for now we give you the fall fashion show.
Mind blowing colors against a brilliant cerulean blue sky.
It was so amazing one peak weekend in New England.
Rindge, New Hampshire.
By the lake the cabins were painted outrageously bright colors
to match the wild light show of leaves on the trees waving in the lakeside breeze.
I saw it, smelled it, loved it!
Everything glowing in this kaleidoscope country.
The colors man, the colors.
No need for an acid trip.
Mother Nature is the originator of the psychedelic scene.
