After boarding a guarded ship, I used photo mode to scout out heavy patrols and armored soldiers. A sniper exposed my position, forcing a chaotic roof firefight against reinforcements. I successfully neutralized multiple guards, but an unexpected glitch trapped me during my retreat, resulting in my defeat.
I spent a considerable amount of time waiting for the lady to relocate, and she finally moved to a different position, which allowed me to climb up the side of the massive ship and begin moving toward a much safer point to reassess the situation.
I was unaware that this specific spot was heavily populated by other enemies because I had not taken the time to tag anyone in the area yet.
To compensate for this blind spot, I paused and used the in-game photo mode to get a clear look around the ship, which quickly revealed a handful of heavily armored soldiers stationed across the deck.
While I remained tucked away, carefully monitoring the enemy movements from my position, I scanned the higher levels and noticed that several of those guards were actively patrolling the upper perimeter, keeping a very close watch on the surrounding areas.
Just as I prepared to shift my position to avoid being spotted, a Vanguard soldier marched directly toward my location, but because he was on an elevated platform above me, I managed to stay completely hidden and kept him from noticing my presence for the time being.
Moving over to the other side of the vessel, I used my grapple to pull myself up to a higher point so I could finally tag the remaining hostiles, but I completely missed a sniper stationed nearby, who screamed loudly to alert the entire crew right before I managed to shoot him down.
With the entire ship suddenly aware of my presence, a large wave of enemies rushed forward, including a soldier on a zip line whom I picked off before he could land on my roof, followed immediately by another attacker whom I dropped instantly with clean headshots.
As more hostiles poured into the area, I realized that soldiers from a neighboring ship were arriving as reinforcements because the crew had successfully triggered the alarm, forcing me to abandon that exposed roof as fast as I possibly could.
During the chaotic retreat, I crossed paths with an enemy who immediately deployed a large ballistic shield to give himself an easy advantage, but I managed to take him down instead before opening fire on the other guards scattered across the deck.
Realizing that surviving this overwhelming onslaught would be nearly impossible, I made a sudden decision to leap off the edge of the ship and return at a later time, but my character became completely stuck in the environment due to a frustrating glitch, allowing the remaining shooters to easily eliminate me.
How about we continue in another post?
Thanks for reading my post.
