Finalmente llegó el año 2026, con enormes expectativas y la esperanza de que sea un año de paz, de logros y de mucha salud. Inspirado en ese sentimiento, decidí empezar este año en Hive con un poema alentador, además de incluir mi acostumbrado reporte de los *PowerUps* hechos por mí durante el mes de diciembre. ¡Empecemos de una vez!

The year 2026 has finally arrived, bringing with it high expectations and the hope for a year of peace, achievement, and good health. Inspired by that feeling, I decided to start this year on Hive with an encouraging poem, while also including my usual report on the PowerUps I made during the month of December. Let’s dive right in!

## Saludo de Año Nuevo: Del 2025 al 2026 Se fue el 2025 y ha empezado el año nuevo. Diciembre estuvo muy bueno con fiestas de espanto y brinco. Ahora vamos con ahínco muy contentos y gozosos, con fuerza de mil colosos, a pintar con acuarela una linda Venezuela de colores luminosos. No dejes para mañana lo que puedas hacer hoy. A paso de morrocoy se sube cualquier montaña, pero hay que empezar con maña y fajarse con empeño. Sin perder norte del sueño, se llega a cualquier lugar. ¡Nunca debes olvidar que de tu vida eres dueño! Lucha con fe y optimismo, cada día es una batalla, vas forjando así la talla de lo que serás tú mismo. Serás la voz del lirismo si actúas con honestidad, apartando la maldad y todo mal sentimiento, tendrás en advenimiento gran dicha y felicidad. **¡Feliz Año 2026 lleno de salud, logros y triunfos!**

## New Year’s Greeting: From 2025 to 2026 The year 2025 is gone, and the new year has begun. December was full of fun, with parties of fright and leap. Now we go with earnest sweep, joyful, happy, full of cheer, with the strength of giants near, to paint with watercolor bright a lovely Venezuela’s light, in colors shining, pure, and clear. Do not leave for tomorrow what today you can achieve. At the tortoise’s slow weave any mountain you can follow, but you must begin with skill, and work hard with steadfast will. Without losing sight of dreams, you’ll arrive by any means. Never should you disregard: your life is yours to guard! Fight with faith and optimism, each new day’s a battle won, thus you forge the shape to come of the person you will be. You’ll be the voice of poetry if you act with honesty, casting evil far away, banishing all ill dismay. In the days that lie ahead, great joy and bliss will spread. **Happy New Year 2026! May it be filled with health, achievements, and triumphs!**
