It was in April this year a trip to Monte Generoso at a hight about 1700 meter on the southern end of the lake Lugano. It is one of the most beautiful viewpoint in the canton of Ticino and the views over the lakes and the Alps made every moment wortwhile an the highlight of this day.
Reaching on the top via the 100-year-old cogwheel, you'll find the "Fiore di pietra" the Stone Flower designed by the architect Mario Botta. Its windows reflect a breathtaking 360° panorama, offering sweeping views around from the Matterhorn to the Jungfrau.
