Poverty is a social concept. It's a serious issue that deeply affects every aspect of human life. This segment of society is considered a victim of poverty like the foundation of one's life, where basic necessities like food, shelter, health, education, and clothing aren't accessible.
There are five countries in the world that are nearly blind with Malawi topping the list having a population of 16 million. The people of this country are considered the most beloved nation. This country lacks resources like industry to improve its economy.
It's followed by another country that is Haiti where people struggle to get food with 76% of the population living below the poverty line and 60% earning less than.
Congo is the world's third poorest country where 71% of the population lives below the poverty line. It has the highest child mortality rate with only 112 out of 1000 children surviving to celebrate their first birthday.
Burundi is another country it is located in West Africa where 64% of the population lives on less than $1 per day.
The Central African Republic is rich in precious stones like diamonds but they're sold on the black market. For most people in this country that's their livelihood.
