Chart Your Course

Hello there.

Thank you to Hive account@anikekirsten for nominating me to take part in the Chart Your Course challenge, started by Hive account@dreemsteem. I'm very new to Steemit and right now, writing is more of a hobby than a career for me. But here goes.

What is your Steemit goal?

My Steemit goal is to use the platform as another way to show my work. Making money from it would be nice but ultimately, that's a bonus.

Prioritize these three aspects of Steemit for you:

• Posting
• Curating
• Commenting

Posting is my main priority, followed by commenting and then curating.

Name up to 5 groups/communities that help you to achieve your goal:

On Discord, I'm a member of two writing groups;

• The Writer's Block
• Scribes and Scribblers

I found Steemit through The Writer's Block and the help and editing advice I've received from the other members have been a big boost to my confidence. Thank you for that.

Name at least one measurable future goal for:

1 month: To reach my 15,000 word goal for Camp NaNo and complete the second draft of Daydream Express.

3 months: To finally finish recording and editing my audiobook for The Adventures of Henrietta and start work on editing Sam's Diary.

6 months: I'll have started university then. I'd like to have Sam's Diary ready to publish, but we'll see how the editing goes. I have another book idea that I'd like to start planning too.

12 months: Admittedly, I haven't got that far yet. It depends on how buried I am in university work.

Either raspberry cheesecake or cherry pie with custard.
